Tell Congress to stop the Biden administration from funding wars in Ukraine and Israel
(LifeSiteNews) — Former Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway is drawing attention after accepting a role with a Ukrainian oligarch that will require her to lobby prominent U.S. officials to promote the war-torn country’s interests in America.
Conway, a professed Catholic, was one of Donald Trump’s closest and longest-serving aides starting in 2017 and lasting up until the 2020 presidential election. Although she spoke at the 2017 March for Life and often warned against feminism during her time at the White House, Conway has grown increasingly liberal in her outlook. Not only did she end up divorcing her husband George in 2023, she praised her lesbian daughter in a speech for the pro-homosexual Log Cabin Republicans last November.
Conway’s new position is with the U.K. arm of Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk’s philanthropic foundation that was founded in 2006. A filing with the Justice Department shows that in exchange for “raising awareness” about Ukraine’s “fight for freedom” to U.S. lawmakers and experts, Conway will be paid the hefty sum of $50,000 a month until election day this November. The job requires her to file with the U.S. government as an individual who is acting on behalf of a foreign entity.
Pinchuk served in Ukraine’s parliament from 1998 until 2006. He made his fortune in a variety of industries, but especially steel. His net worth is currently an estimated $2 billion dollars. Given that a growing number of individuals on the global stage are calling for peace in Ukraine, including the country’s own president Vladimir Zelensky, it may well be speculated that Pinchuk is attempting to lay the groundwork for a political and economic climate in post-war Ukraine that is favorable to his business interests.
One of Conway’s duties is to convince U.S. lawmakers, experts, and opinion makers to attend Pinchuk’s annual Yalta European Strategy meeting in Kyiv this September. The conference has been held every year since 2004 and features an array of business, political, media, and civic leaders. Past attendees include globalists such as Hillary Clinton, Boris Johnson, Condoleezza Rice, Fareed Zakaria, and homosexual Jewish atheist Yuval Harari. Pinchuk reportedly gave $13.1 million to the Clinton Foundation between 2006 and 2014. He also attended Bill Clinton’s 65th birthday party.
News of Conway’s hiring comes as reports that there are concerns in the GOP over Trump’s picking J.D. Vance as his running mate. Conway, who has not been shy about her efforts to get Florida Senator Marco Rubio on the ticket, has reportedly been the source of what some are calling “a smear campaign.”
“Nobody has any respect for her,” a person close to the Trump campaign told NOTUS. “(Vance) has been the most vocal person about ending the war; now we find out she’s on (Ukraine’s) payroll,” the person also said. “She’s a part of the rest of the neocon machine.”
While Vance and Conway may hold different views on the Ukraine conflict, both appear to have similar positions on abortion. In recent years, Conway has encouraged Republicans to embrace contraception as a campaign message and has also advised them to stop pointing out that Democrats support abortion until birth. Vance has endorsed chemical abortion pills being legally available and, like his running mate Donald Trump, opposes any federal limits on abortion.
LifeSite contributor Matt Lamb has written that Conway should not receive the Eucharist at Mass due to her public support for homosexuality and birth control, as both are condemned by the Catholic Church. Other public figures, including canon lawyer Fr. Gerald Murray of the Archdiocese of New York and Judie Brown of American Life League have expressed similar comments.
