LANSING, Michigan, Nov 26 (LSN) – Oakland County Prosecutor David Gorcyca announced Wednesday that he had issued a warrant charging euthanasia activist Jack Kevorkian with first-degree premeditated murder, criminal assistance to a suicide and delivery of a controlled substance. An hour later a smiling Kevorkian turned himself in to police only to be released on the condition he commits no more murders until his December 9th hearing.  Prosecutors argued unsuccessfully that Kevorkian should not be released. Michigan Magistrate Robert Crawford ordered the euthanasia activist released on a $750,000 bond despite the fact that Kevorkian has repeatedly defied the courts and has previously killed while on bail.
