DETROIT, Jan 5 (LSN) – Assisted-suicide enthusiast, Jack Kevorkian told reporters last Wednesday that he would starve himself to death if jailed for killing his victims. Speaking for himself and his accomplices, Georges Reding and medical supplier Neil Nichol, Kevorkian said, “Our conviction and death will help future, more enlightened societies gauge the darkness of our plutocratic and theocratic age.”  His remarks come as the Michigan Legislature debates a law explicitly banning assisted suicide.  A bill calling for a ban of assisted suicide in Michigan has already been passed by the Michigan state Senate. It is currently being debated in the House and needs the approval of Governor John Engler before it becomes law.
