DETROIT, Jan 14 (LSN) – Assisted-suicide activist Jack Kevorkian’s notorious lawyer, Geoffrey Fieger,  announced yesterday his intention to run for the Democratic nomination to become Governor of Michigan.  Fieger has outspokenly defended Kevorkian from all attacks and is himself one of the foremost proponents of assisted suicide in the US.  Fieger’s motive in running is to unseat Republican Governor John Engler, who opposes Kevorkian’s illegal pursuit of legalized assisted suicide.
