BUFFALO, November 27, 2002 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The judge presiding over the trial of James C. Kopp, who last week admitted to shooting abortionist Barnet Slepian in 1998, has placed a gag order on the case for the remaining months before the trial opens in February.  Judge Michael D’Amico ordered Kopp, his attorneys and prosecutors to refrain from discussing evidence or testimony before the trial. Prosecutor Frank Clark sought the order on grounds that further publicity could taint the jury pool.  For previous coverage see:  https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2002/nov/02112001.html
