Update: As of this writing, we are only $20,000 away from reaching our Fall Campaign goal. If you believe this to be an insurmountable challenge, let me explain why I believe we will make it all the way.
First off, don’t underestimate power in numbers. As the saying goes, many hands make light work. If just a fraction of the millions of visitors LifeSiteNews serves donated $5, $10, or only $25 or more, we would exceed our goal.
By the end of our “Last Call” today, nearly 100,000 people (if not more) will have viewed our life and family news reports. They will have seen our video popup when they entered our site, or have viewed our large banner and thermometer indicating the amount left to be raised in the campaign.
Of those tens of thousands of people, we only need 1,500 people to decide that our vital news service is worth $35 to reach our goal.
Or, we need only 1,000 people to recognize that, in fact, ‘We are at War’ and LifeSiteNews is leading the fight against the Culture of Death in the truth it provides on issues relating to life, family, and culture with a donation of $50.
The more of our readers who make the decision to donate, the smaller the donation amount needed.
It’s actually quite simple, you see.
Secondly, our readers have always come through for us. After all, we are still alive and kicking to this day.
In fact, we are continuing to expand in response to the continually growing number of leaders, activists, and readers from countries around the world looking to LifeSiteNews for the truth in the battles they fight every day in their own communities.
While our Fall Campaign goal of $150,000 is not enough for us to be remotely ‘comfortable,’ we have become quite efficient at what we do. With our relative shoe-string budget, we often have an astonishingly strong impact compared to much larger organizations, operating with exponentially larger overhead.
The dedication of the LifeSiteNews team to this mission is something our readers can see in the quality of the work that we do. People never cease to be amazed at the return on their investment.
