PHOENIX, Aug 30 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A 14-year-old, 23-week pregnant girl who was last week to go out of state for a court-ordered abortion has generated a nation-wide conflict in the US. Pro-lifers across the country are offering to help the girl while the courts battle back and forth about whether or not to authorize her trip to a state where it is legal to kill her baby.  Governor Jane Hull agreed to assess the young mother’s competence and an appeal court blocked the original abortion order on Saturday, but the abortion was approved again Sunday by the Arizona Supreme Court with a 3-2 vote.  Political and pro-life offices in the state were bombarded with calls from thousands of pro-lifers willing to offer help including adoption of the baby.
