Re: Kennedy Funeral

Personally I am overjoyed that finally someone like LifeSiteNews is speaking up to the issues that have been dividing Roman Catholics and people who pretend to be RC.

My field is research and writing and over the years I have found there are many real differences between the two. It wasn't until LSN and others brought this to a conscious level on the internet that many people, including Bishops, started to take notice and question their own values and faith. It's a healthy exorcise to take stock now and then..

People like Trudeau, Kennedy and others who were given the gift of leadership, claiming to be Catholic, should be exposed for following an uncatholic roll in their actions so that all those who followed their ways would question their own depth of faith.

Dear LifeSite News Editor,

As a Christian who loves LifeSite News and sees you filling a vital role in our culture, it baffles me how other “Christians/Catholics” can attend church and yet not follow the teachings of Christ regarding life.

Your story on Kennedy's funeral was so helpful to me.    I kept wondering why the adulation for a man such as he, who did not live by the teachings and values of Christ?    Your article was greatly appreciated ……I realized I am not alone in my assessments.

Praise for LifeSiteNews

LifeSiteNews and EWTN have made me aware of the tremendous need for prayer and fasting for a society that is embracing a culture of death. I am indebted to these organizations  for bringing me closer to my Faith, a Faith that is not watered down and lukewarm. They call me to act and defend the weakest and most vulnerable.

My prayer life has grown so much since reading and listening to EWTN and LifeSiteNews. Without LifeSiteNews I would never have known about many demonstations that defend life, to stand with unity with other Pro-Life Christians that are not Catholic. I will continue to pray that our church leaders may not bow to secular pressure and have courage to fight for the innocent.

Re: Commentary: “You lie!” Mr. President: Joe Wilson's War for Democracy in America

Jim Wilson's outburst is similar to the tale of the emperor's new clothes in that Mr. Wilson, like the totally candid little boy, can see clearly that Emperor Obama is walking around buck naked. Everyone else could see the same but was too scared to say so.

Thank you for the commentary about the bravery of Joe Wilson.  I wish there was a medal of honor that he could be presented with, since he is indeed at war with the death culture in our society.  I am so tired of hearing congressmen say that they disapprove of the work being done and yet they never have the guts to stand up and protest.  They lead the citizens of our country to believe there is nothing they can do, when, in fact, they do have the ability to override anything the president signs.  We never hear about this step.

It is a crime that Joe Wilson is condemned for speaking the truth and the leader of our country has nothing but lies to spew forth.  Shame on you, President Obama. Thank you for your service.

Re: Unique Youth Organized Pure Exposure Fashion Show Set to Go This Thursday in Toronto

It was probably Julia Roberts playing Erin Brockovich who popularised the  fashion- which is still around- of showing bra straps outside a t-shirt. One fashion following another, year after year, what is being aimed at is to get rid of female privacy.

The task of covering women moves between burkas and bikinis, and whilst there are voices against the Islamic veil, viewed as a religious archaism or a symbol of women’s subservience to men, no one complains about the clothing of women in the West. What greater subservience to a male can there be than  for no reason at all to allow him a view of thighs, shoulders, navels and breasts while walking down the street, and thus provoking an unprecedented surge of male lust?  Not to mention the show which is afforded at the beaches, where women staunchly parade in topless gear to the embarrassment and resignation of all others on the beach. These women would never dream of walking around like this in their homes, because it is so obviously vulgar.

There is a middle way between burkas and vulgar exhibitionism .Are we women, or are we ” females” ? It is up to us to decide.
