RE: Biden Receives Standing Ovation at Catholic Mass after Receiving Communion
https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2009/jan/09012013.html

Dear Sir,

What a sacrilege. Where was the Pastor? Where was the Bishop?  Do the Parishioners have no shame?  I am once again thoroughly disgusted with people who call themselves Catholic, but do not embrace and practice the pro-life teachings of our beautiful Faith.  Parishioners should be calling for the removal of that Pastor and their Bishop.  The silence of the Pastor, the Bishop and the parishioners speaks volumes.  We should question why these types of actions continue to occur without the swift and appropriate response needed from the hierarchy of the Church.

Our Lord is watching this very closely with a sad heart.  We should all fear His swift and appropriate judgement.

There is a terrible irony here, in which a black president desires to remove all reasonable deterrents to abortion.

Surely he must know that American blacks who comprise 12-13% of the US population have at least twice that percentage of all abortions in this country, which is a demographic nightmare for them. To increase it even further through FOCA strikes me as being genocidal.

It condemns black Americans to a permanent and shrinking minority status as the whites and Hispanics overtake them. If he cares about African American children, he should be pursuing policies which raise them up, not tear them down. The best FOCA would be to give their parents choice in selecting schools from K-12 grades, a strategy which has been proven to work wherever it’s been tried.

The worst deprivation is not material poverty, it is being forced into a system which ensures intellectual and spiritual poverty. Until the president starts to care more about inner-city children than the votes of self-absorbed teacher’s unions who eschew competition, the current unconscionable situation will not change. If private schools are better for his daughters than public schools, how can he deny public school children what they need most? Freedom of school choice would surely be the most productive, far-reaching and moral “CHANGE” he can institute, a reform which would improve the lot of every American child and family.

Yours truly,

So many stories boil down to the same, sad truth; people calling themselves something they are not.

Obama calls himself a Christian; he is not. No follower of Christ can possibly promote the killing of innocent children. Christ is a real person, alive today and forever. There is only one Christ, and therefore if so many claim to follow a totally different Christ from the one we read of in the Gospels and worship in Holy Mass, they are evidently following somebody (or something) else.

Vice-president Biden calls himself a catholic; he is not. He is presently in a state of excommunion, as a result of his public promotion of abortion. Whether or not he goes to Mass and causes scandal by receiving the Body and Blood of our Lord makes no difference. He has placed himself outside the Church by his own words and actions, and is therefore no longer a Catholic.

The group “Catholics for Choice” call themselves Catholics; they are not. They were repudiated and excommunicated many years ago by Pope John Paul II. This group of bloodthirsty, abortion-loving maniacs calling themselves Catholics is as meaningless as John McCain calling himself President of the United States.

People ought to wake up to the hard truth that there are many imposters out there, using the name of Christ for their evil ends, and usurping the term “catholic”, twisting it to mean exactly the opposite of what it really does; i.e. fidelity to the Holy Father in Rome.

Yours in Christ and Mary,

Dear Editor,

I am strongly pro-life.  In speaking with my pro-abortion friends I have come to realize they too decry abortion and believe the embryo is a living person.  They say they shouldn’t interfere with another’s “choice.”  In the future I will ask them, “What is the difference between aborting an embryo and infanticide?”

Thank you, LifeSiteNews, for your great witness to the truth.
