RE: Christian-Founded Dating Website eHarmony Forced to Cater to Homosexuals
https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2008/nov/08112104.html

It truly is a shame, not only that e-Harmony caved to the homosexual lobby, but also that news reports are saying the dating service was “forced” to comply with demands.

Family Research Council pointed out in their Washington Update last Thursday that even legal experts agreed that the complainant, Eric McKinley, didn’t have a case.

Perhaps litigation was becoming “burdensome” but since when does the cost of standing up for the truth and what is right stop one from doing so?  I agree with Peter LaBarbera that Mr. Warren and e-Harmony sold out.

RE: Brazilian Psychologists Prohibited from Helping Catholic Church Screen Out Homosexual Priesthood Candidates

Considering the biological purposes and functionality of the reproductive system in non-asexual creatures such as homo sapiens, one would expect that biologists would be first in line to declare homosexuality as an obviously incorrect behavior for such an organism to enage in.

Obviously truth is not what science seeks nor serves. Ideologues have hijacked the sciences to whitewash their agenda with the appearance of legitimacy in order to support their agendas. That’s what happens when scientists prefer grants and tenure over truth.

Once again the only truth that shows itself consistent over time is God’s truth.

The reason I left the Catholic Church was over the amount of hypocrisy I encountered over the years. I will not leave people thinking I am Catholic bashing, for many people in my family are good Catholics and good Christians. I will also say there is plenty of hypocrisy everywhere in the church and I am as guilty as anyone.

I will say this: I do not stand up and say I am a Christian and it is okay for me to sin and promote sin.  I loathe the sin within myself and seek to kill off my sinful nature and allow God to replace it with nature as Paul told us of in Romans 8.

For years I have been confused by the nature of the Catholic voter who attends church every Sunday as recites the Apostles Creed and then the first Tuesday of every November disregards that belief and votes for the Democrat because JFK was Catholic.

The Church would do well to excommunicate those members who facilitate the act of infanticide as labeled as abortion in any and all forms. The Kennedy family would be a great place to start. So many of the anti-life politicians all gleefully call themselves Roman Catholic, and yet the Church is light in its stance against their hypocrisy.

The Church is suffering from the same problem as the Republican Party.  The idea of wanting to look nice and draw in big numbers while compromising values and morals does not serve the true purpose of the Church – Catholic, protestant or otherwise.  We are to be the “salt of the earth;” well, salt heals, salt flavors and salt irritates, so maybe the Church needs to take that stand and become the people of Christ we claim to be. We should let others know they are welcome, but their sin is not and their tolerance and facilitation of the sins of others is not.  Love the sinner, hate the sin.

Dear Editor,

Thank you for all of your articles the past year.  They were tremendously helpful to my family and circle of friends during the election this year in the United States.  I watched with admiration as the Catholic Church took the lead in standing in the gap for our country in regards to abortion. Your stories of Catholic leadership stepping up to the plate to defend the lives of the unborn touched my heart and my spirit.  I’ve read that the number of Catholics that voted for Obama made the difference in his victory, but I think those statements assume too much responsibility for the Catholic Church.

I was raised a Baptist and am now considered an inter-denominationalist, if that is a word.  I believe the truth of the Word of God in the Holy Bible, and I truly love the Lord.  I wish the other denominations had followed the lead of the Catholic Church in reporting and speaking the truth of this year’s election.  I believe too many pastors and churches were too worried about their non-profit status and offending someone of a different color.  But truth is truth, and our nation will be held accountable for the decisions we made this year.

What gives me hope is that maybe enough people were truly saddened by the results that they now will get involved in the issues that affect and touch the heart of God.  There is darkness being released throughout the world and we must stand together against wickedness in high places. If we can cross denomination lines to stand together as the body of Christ, then “We the People” can make a difference throughout the world.  May God bless our efforts.

Anyway, I want to think you for all of your work to keep us informed about these critical issues.  I pray God the Father blesses all of His children that love His Son Jesus Christ.  God bless you.

Dear Editor:

Homosexuals demand the right to marry on the basis of their “civil rights” – that is, they want “equality before the law.”  What they fail to recognize, however, is that governments may be discriminating without being discriminatory.  A blind person will not be granted the privilege of a driver’s license because he is different from a sighted person. A gay couple should not be granted the privilege of a marriage license because they are different from a heterosexual couple. Like the blind driver, they pose a danger to the welfare of society.

RE: Martin Luther King’s Niece: Obama Election Heals “White Guilt” at the Cost of Life and Family
https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2008/nov/08111705.html

Alveda King’s commentary was amazing and powerful!  This needs to be linked to by many other sites.  Please keep this commentary in prominence for several months.

I’ve been watching Dr. King for years now on EWTN.  With this commentary, in particular, she has truly found her voice!

  May God bless you all.
