Re: Documentary Exposes Abortion as The Evolution of Racism and Black Genocide

Thank you so very much for the work that you do with LifeSiteNews.  Your E-mail is the first one I open each day, and it is such a privilege to receive the fruits of your labor so consistently. I am able to share with others the truth about various subjects more easily due to the incredibly accurate and detailed articles written by your dedicated staff.

I especially appreciate your concern for the African American community.  My husband and I have two adopted African American sons along with our four biological children.  Being their mother is one of the greatest gifts God has given to me, and I continue to pray for their birth families regularly.  It burdens me greatly to think of how many African American women have aborted their children, little boys and girls who are just as precious to God as our beautiful sons.

It never ceases to amaze me how God opens doors for us to discuss abortion, adoption, and the pro-life beliefs with total strangers wherever we go.  There are countless African Americans who have no idea that Planned Parenthood and other similar organizations seek to destroy future generations of people of color.  Though I try to keep love and compassion at the forefront of my discussions with them, I also work to share the truth of the loss of so many lives.

My main focus each day is to raise up my six children (ages 9 months to 13 years) to the glory of God as we go about homeschooling and serving one another and others around us.  I do not have much time to be at the computer, and that is one reason why I am so blessed by your work.  The 10 or 15 minutes that I spend reading the latest news from your E-mail and website each day keep me well-informed and ready to send the information along to others.

Thank you, also, for not being afraid to acknowledge the growing link between the birth-control pill and breast cancer.  As a young, unsaved woman and later as a faithful and forgiven married woman, I used the pill for several years.  In October of 2009, when my youngest son was just 7 weeks old, I was diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer.

Following surgery in December, I endured 4 months of chemotherapy and am about to start 6 weeks of daily radiation.  Thankfully, the prognosis for me is very good, but I wish so much that I had never used the pill.  Please continue to shed light in this area.

May God continue to bless you in your work!

Re: Poll Shows Big Bounce for Harry Reid’s GOP Challenger

Thank you for the timely coverage on Sharron Angle.

Living out here in Nevada, I see the energy and dynamism that Sharron's candidacy for US Senate is generating.  The voters of Nevada have finally woken up, perhaps belatedly, to Reid's failed policies.  This campaign and election is about more than the life issues. It also about the future economic survival of the country.

Sharron Angle is going to handily defeat Harry Reid on November 2.

Re: Rep. Smith Vows to Oppose Military Abortions in Defense Bill

I was active duty in Ft. Eustis, Virginia from March 1972 to June of 1973.  I was a Personnel Managment Specialist.  Papers came into our office for Permissive TDYS to Portsmouth Naval Hospital.  I was told it was for abortions.

I reminded my boss that the regulations state there was to be no abortion.  He pulled the regulation out for me and I read it.  It stated, “No abortions on their members.”  That was the loop hole.

The Navy did the Army’s and the Army did the Navy’s.  I saw 5 requests and I can not recall if it was ‘72 or ‘73.  Doesn’t matter.  The WAC’s that kept their babies wore civilian clothing and I was told that if anyone asked, they were not military but civilian.  They were ridiculed, made fun of by other WAC’s, very sad.

Re: Clergy Sex Abuse Scandals and These Stone Walls

Bill Donahue, president of the Catholic League, has commented extensively on your site and others about the true nature of the clergy sex abuse scandal in the Catholic Church.  I find myself agreeing with much of what he has to say. When one understands the role of the contingency fee bar in sex abuse litigation, it becomes a virtual certainty that some priests have been falsely accused for money – substantial amounts of money. There is a certain naiveté in Catholics who still believe that no one would make such a false claim merely for money.

A case in point is that of Father Gordon J. MacRae analyzed by Dorothy Rabinowitz in the Wall St. Journal (“A Priest's Story,” April 27/28, 2005). That particular priest seems to be taking the high road in challenging his own false accusations while remaining faithful to the tenets of his faith and his Church, and that is most commendable. I have researched this case extensively, and it is worth reviewing at www.TheseStoneWalls.com .

Bill Donahue has urged all Catholic League members to visit this site and review this case, and to read this priest,s writings. Catholics would do well to visit and support this site, but they don't.  Both the mainstream media and the Catholic media have ignored this side of the story.  It is simply not politically correct to challenge any claim of victimhood.  There is indeed another side of the story and it can be found at These Stone Walls.
