WESTERN AUSTRALIA, May 7 (LSN) – The lower house of the Western Australian legislature today approved a lax abortion law put forward by Labour MP Cheryl Davenport. The Australian Medical Association, which supports removing abortion from criminal law altogether, has expressed approval of the bill, promising to consider ending a “strike” in abortion “services,” which was designed to force the government’s hand.
