FREDERICTON, New Brunswick (LifeSiteNews) — As election time draws near, pro-family postcards distributed in New Brunswick seemed to have sparked panic in the province’s Liberal Party.
In a September 14 video, New Brunswick Liberal Party leader Susan Holt condemned postcards distributed in mail boxes throughout the province that explained the dangers of the LGBT agenda, claiming the material contained “misinformation,” only to be fact-checked by the group behind the pamphlets, Campaign Life Coalition (CLC).
“I’m calling on leaders across party lines to denounce the misinformation spreading through mailboxes and social media across our province,” Holt wrote.

“The information they are sharing is not true and is extremely concerning,” she claimed.
In response, CLC published pictures of each postcard along with links to the information which the cards included.
The pamphlets warned that promoting LGBT ideology in schools has lead to children undergoing irreversible procedures, including the taking of puberty blockers and submitting themselves to mutilating surgeries.
“Puberty blockers, high dose estrogen and testosterone are powerful drugs which can cause irreversible infertility, make bones brittle, stunt a child’s growth, reduce brain volume, increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, blood clots and various cancers,” the flyer explained.
“A 2023 study found that hundreds of Canadian girls aged 17 and younger underwent double mastectomies over the past five years,” it continued, linking to an online petition which provided sources for several studies exposing the dangers of gender “transitioning.”
CLC also provided a list of every claim made on the postcards, followed by scientific evidence and citations to support their information.

Other pamphlets explained the importance of parental consent, encouraging strong child-parent relationships.
Another boldly stated, “No child is ‘born in the wrong body.’ God doesn’t make mistakes.”
CLC also defended their other pamphlet which exposed Holt’s Liberals for pushing gender ideology in schools.
It further explained that the New Brunswick Liberals, a party founded on the tenets of classical liberalism, has veered away from its own principles in favor of a radical agenda.
“Now, @susanholt, please admit that our fact claims are true, and that your policy of encouraging Gender Ideology in schools is harming children,” CLC wrote.
As LifeSiteNews previously reported, in early September, CLC distributed 620,000 pamphlets to the greater Fredericton, Moncton and Saint John areas. The postcards were delivered just weeks before New Brunswick’s provincial election scheduled for October 21.
The current Progressive Conservative premier, Blaine Higgs, has introduced a series of pro-family directives, which would likely be repealed if he loses the upcoming election.
“The New Brunswick Liberal Party, led by Susan Holt, has pledged to repeal this common sense school directive if Liberals form government,” CLC’s Jack Fonseca told LifeSiteNews.
“She will turn back the clock on parental rights, and forbid teachers from obtaining parental consent before transitioning kids at school,” he continued. “Minors will be encouraged to impersonate the opposite sex at school and helped in keeping it secret from their mom and dad.”
