UNITED NATIONS TIED IN TO CHINESE RU-486 COMPANY

RU-486 A Front-Line De-population Measure rather than help for women

SHANGHAI, Oct. 12 (LSN.ca) – China’s Hua Lian Pharmaceutical factory, located an hour’s drive south of downtown Shanghai has been revealed as the company being used by U.S. RU-486 marketer Danco to manufacture the abortion drugs for the US. The company, which has been making RU-486 for over nine years, has been assisted heavily by the United Nations’ World Health Organization and the World Bank through a company they formed in 1989 called the Concept Foundation. Another major de-population advocating organization was also instrumental in aiding Hua Lin – the Rockefeller Foundation. The Post notes that the foundation gave $2 million to the Concept Foundation in 1997 to help Hua Lian and China’s state family planning agency upgrade the factory to meet international standards for export.

Considering that the key players in the international promotion of RU-486 are the same as those promoting world de-population, the drug is increasingly being viewed with suspicion. It is being touted in a world-wide campaign as offering women a more convenient method of controlling their reproduction but the very substantial de-population aspect has hardly been mentioned. The powerful depopulation forces at work promoting RU-486 offer some explanation of the puzzling approval of this deadly drug by governments despite its severe side-effects, the often dreadful nature of the procedure and the unknown long-term and likely severe consequences.

Along with UN/WHO and World Bank promotion of RU-486, the Wall Street Journal revealed last month that millions of dollars in donations were given to Danco’s efforts by the foundations of depopulation extremists Warren Buffett, George Soros and the late David Packard. Furthermore, the Population Council holds the US patent rights for the abortion pill – the council itself is a creation of John D. Rockefeller 3rd and spends about $70 million (US) promoting population control each year.

Gao Ersheng, director of the Shanghai Institute of Planned Parenthood Research told the Post that of the estimated 10 million abortions performed annually in China, about half are carried out with RU-486. Global promotion of the drug has followed the same pattern as the promotion of abortifacient “emergency contraception” which LifeSite exposed last year as being promoted by a UN led consortium of depopulation groups including UNDP/UNFPA/WHO/World Bank Special Programme of Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction (Geneva); International Planned Parenthood Federation (London); The Population Council (New York); The Concept Foundation (Bangkok) and more. Interestingly, Joachim Oehler, who heads the Concept Foundation, told the Post that the goal was to enable Hua Lian to produce export-quality RU-486 to be used in China and elsewhere as an “emergency contraceptive.” He said the company could make enough of the drug to supply the entire world.

NEW VATICAN DOCUMENT SAYS POLITICIANS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR ABORTION

ROME, Oct 12 (LSN.ca) – A new Vatican document prepared by the Pontifical Council for the Family for the Jubilee of Families to be celebrated this weekend in Rome includes “legislators who have promoted and approved abortion laws” as bearing “responsibility” for the “abominable crime” of abortion – which the document describes as “murder”. The document provides the twelve themes for reflection and dialogue for the “Third World Meeting Of The Holy Father With Families” which is being billed “Children, Springtime Of The Family And Society.” The Pontifical Council for the Family headed by Cardinal Alfonso Lopez Trujillo noted of the document that “the content proposes in a brief and synthetic way, some fundamental themes of Church teaching drawn from the more recent documents, especially from the Second Vatican Council and John Paul II’s Papacy.”

In addition to pro-abortion legislators and abortionists and their aides the document notes that abortionists, other family members, mothers who procure abortions, and groups that campaign for abortion share responsibility. Regarding mothers, the document says, while the situation may be tragic, “Nonetheless, no motives, no matter how serious or dramatic, can ever justify the deliberate killing of an innocent human life.” Fathers are also mentioned: “the father of the child may be to blame, not only when he directly pressures the woman to have an abortion, but also when he leaves her alone to face the problems of pregnancy.” Also sharing blame are the wider family circle and friends when they exert pressure to abort.

In an obvious reference to the United Nations among other international agencies, the document says “A general and no less serious responsibility lies with international institutions, foundations and associations which systematically campaign for the legalization and spread of abortion in the world.” The document takes on the UN language used to hide the murderous nature of abortion, calling it “interruption of pregnancy.” With regard to this attempted manipulation of public opinion “the reproach of the Prophet is extremely straightforward: ‘Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness’,” says the document.

It says prenatal testing, “if it respects the life and integrity of the embryo and the human fetus and is directed towards its safeguarding or healing as an individual, is morally licit. On the other hand, it is gravely opposed to the moral law when it is done with the thought of possibly inducing an abortion depending on the results.” The document also discusses “contraception and ‘abortifacient contraceptives'” noting the “close connection which exists, in mentality, between the practice of contraception and that of abortion is becoming increasingly obvious.” In addressing artificial procreation or fertilization the document describes them as creating “new attacks against life.” It says that “Besides being ethically unacceptable, in that they separate procreation from the unitive sense of the conjugal act, these techniques have a high percentage of ‘failure’.”
