The International Week of Prayer and Fasting to End Abortion begins on LifeChain Sunday October 3-11. A Catholic event at the conclusion of the week is taking place in Washington. 

The Communist Party in Vietnam has expelled a 74-year-old man from the party and the benefits of its membership for having too many children. Le Van Dung and his family were expelled for violating the two child policy introduced in the mid 1990’s.  (South China Morning Post)
