The Canadian Pediatric Society has issued a report warning parents that too much television can harm children mentally, physically and socially; parents should allow no more than one hour a day of TV for preschoolers and no more than 2 hours for school age children. 

The British government has banned mumps and measles vaccines for children over concerns from a two-year-old study which linked the vaccinations to autism.
