* The Associated Press reported Monday that in-utero laser surgery on twins in Florida has “miraculously” saved one of the babies from death by re-routing amniotic fluid so that it is evenly distributed to each of the twins.

* The Amarillo Texas Globe-News reported in march that conservative Protestants are moving against artificial birth control to such a degree that fertility rates among them are beginning to challenge those of Catholic families.
