Christ is truly present in Holy Communion and no one who favours the killing of children, the image and likeness of God, should ever receive communion,” Brown said. “It’s an offence to God and the bishops have an obligation to say that and they don’t,” she added.  Father Frank Pavone, the national director of Priests for Life, a pro-life group that seeks to encourage priests to speak out on abortion, believes liberal reformers within the church are not really even part of the church.  “They already do have a different religion. These folks speak of the church in political terms. They don’t just disagree with the church on contraception—they disagree with the church about the church. We have no authority to change those teachings,” Pavone told CNSNews.com .  https://www.cnsnews.com/ViewCulture.asp?Page=Culturearchive
