WHATCOTT RECEIVES ONE-MONTH SENTENCE FOR CROSSING BORDER Bill Whatcott was sentenced in Minot, N.D., to one month in jail, with credit for time already served. Police said he was on his way to a religious meeting in Wisconsin. “He wanted really badly to attend this tent revival [prayer meeting] or whatever it was,” a friend explained.
