The National Post reports that King’s College, the Christian school which lost a discrimination case in the Supreme Court of Canada for dismissing a practicing homosexual teacher, has decided to enact a code of behaviour. The code bans sex outside of marriage. Such codes were recently upheld by the Supreme Court in the Trinity Western decision.

The Ottawa Citizen reported this week on conscience legislation, quoting Barb Wahl, president of the Ontario Nurses Association as saying such a law “would be a good thing.”

A Scottish opinion poll has revealed that about 70 per cent of Scottish citizens believe abortion is always or quite wrong. However, a shift to a more liberal morality has led to drop in agreement with the statment that homosexuality is always wrong from 60 to 39% in less than twenty years.
