A British study has shown that one in five girls aged 13 to 15 would like the age of consent raised from 16 to 18 to make it easier for them to say no to sex. The survey based on responses to questionnaires completed under exam conditions by 2,250 13 to 15-year-olds at 21 schools from England between November 1999 and March 2000, highlights the difficulties many girls have in fending off unwanted sexual advances from boyfriends and resisting peer pressure to have sex. The report also noted that twenty one per cent thought sex education helped prevent teen pregnancy, while 33 per cent disagreed.  https://www.sunday-times.co.uk/news/pages/tim/2000/09/08/timnwsnws01002.html

In a brilliant talk given at the third national convention of Toward Tradition, Robert P. George, a professor of jurisprudence at Princeton said, “Apply the test. The evidence that a culture is descending into paganism is always manifest in the body count. … This was true in ancient Babylon and it is true in modern America. The same old Baal and Moloch … always crave the blood of the weakest and the most vulnerable. Today the unborn, the partially born and the handicapped newly born are daily sacrificed to the false gods of autonomy, choice, and liberation on stainless-steel altars by priests robed in surgical whites.” The organization, based in Mercer Island, Wash., is led by Orthodox Rabbi Daniel Lapin.  https://www.vny.com/cf/news/upidetail.cfm?QID=117298
