North American disability rights advocate, Mark Pickup, says Stockwell Day as leader of the Canadian Alliance would be good news for Canada’s disabled and incurably ill. Pickup has made numerous petitions (to no avail) against the Liberal Party’s official policy favouring assisted suicide for the incurably ill and disabled.
Dr. Joel Brind will be featured on the cover of Physician’s Magazine, which is published by Focus on the Family. Dr. Brind, President of the Breast Cancer Prevention Institute, is the epidemiologist who completed a review and meta-analysis of the worldwide studies on the abortion-breast cancer link in 1996.
