Fears of disruption of Catholic events in Rome by homosexual activists involved with the July 1-8   World Gay Pride event were compounded June 10 as a result of about 100 activists disturbing a Church service. A loud and irreverent protest in the piazza del Pantheon disrupted Church services taking place at the time. The noise was so intense the service was stopped as the priest went outside to demand peace. 

A Brazilian child saved from abortion was baptized this week. Zenit reports that the child was   scheduled for abortion but “the hospital was receiving 30 telephone calls an hour, as well as faxes and emails from all over the world. The entire globe was mobilized to save Vitor’s life.”
