LifeSite has learned that the government of NS will likely introduce, this week, an amendment to the Pension Benefits Act that will allow coverage for same-sex couples in the 500 private pension plans in Nova Scotia.

A study by researchers at Johns Hopkins Hospital presented Friday at the Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society Meeting in Boston shows that sex-reassignment surgery is a miserable failure. Of 27 boys born without a penis and castrated and raised as girls, all had masculine behaviour and most declared themselves to be boys. Dr. William G. Reiner called for a thorough review of the practice.

Cardinal Thomas Winning, archbishop of Glasgow wrote against the use of human embryos for spare body part cloning saying: “It is a gross violation of rights to breed embryos for the sole purpose of taking their cells, thus ending their lives.
