The National Post reported yesterday that the Supreme Court of Canada ruling allowing lap dancing at strip bars will likely be negated by health bylaws as most municipalities have enacted rules forbidding such activity at strip clubs. 

Church News reported Wednesday that the Catholic Church in Cuba announced that the third Archdiocesan Bioethics Day will be held next January. The event aims to oppose the increasing number of abortions in Cuba, as well as the common use of contraceptive methods. (EWTN)

Mother Angelica, foundress of EWTN, and the Poor Clare Nuns of Perpetual Adoration has dedicated the Church built next to her monastery to “the Divine Child Jesus in reparation for the abortions committed in the world.” The church will be solemnly consecrated on Sunday December 19 beginning at 10am and it will air live on EWTN and the internet.
