(LifeSiteNews) — In January 2021, Twitter suspended the main LifeSiteNews Twitter account for speaking out against the truth of transgenderism as embodied by so-called “Rachel” Levine, Joe Biden’s Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services. The account had over 56,000 followers prior to the suspension.

Then in March of the same year, Twitter suspended LifeSiteNews’ second Twitter account, LifeSite Catholic, for sounding the alarm against harmful and even deadly effects of forced mass vaccination, especially among the elderly, per an Israeli study. The account had over 21,500 followers.

Throughout LifeSite’s suspension from Twitter, we were unable to bring our international following any important news. However after much prayerful deliberation, starting today, LifeSite will resume bringing important pro-life and pro-family news stories back to its international audience, even with Twitter’s insistence that posts which do not comply to globalist agendas be silenced from the online public square.

With the amount of breaking news stories impacting our endeavors to build a culture of life and family, it is important now more than ever that LifeSite reaches as wide an audience as possible, even as Twitter enforces undemocratic rules that silence free speech and penalizes the truth.

LifeSite did not willfully remove the above posts. In fact, the posts were flagged and automatically deleted around the time our accounts were suspended. Twitter’s request to delete the posts was thus superfluous and redundant.

LifeSite appealed both of the removals, but was denied both times. Twitter’s arbitrary rules demand such actions be taken by online publishers to continue reaching their audiences — a commitment which LifeSite will maintain no matter the opposition.

Twitter’s suspension of LifeSite followed a myriad of other conservative organizations that have been similarly silenced, banned, and censored. LifeSite is optimistic that attacks on pro-life, pro-family truth will no longer occur on Twitter if rumors are confirmed that Elon Musk is on the verge of completing his purchase of the platform in the upcoming months.

LifeSiteNews looks forward to a day when conservative organizations are never again targeted for censorship to have their voice silenced on any Big Tech platform.
