BRAMPTON, Ontario, October 28, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – On November 5th, LifeSiteNews co-founder and editor-in-chief John-Henry Westen will be awarded the Metanoia Community Foundation’s first Person of Distinction Award.

Westen will also deliver an address entitled “The Silent Moral Pestilence: Pornography. How to protect ourselves and our family from it!”

The Metanoia Community Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting family through education.  Every winter they sponsor a Virtues In Golf program for boys aged 9 to 14.

The Nov. 5th event is the first in the foundation’s new speakers series, run in cooperation with St. Joseph’s Workshop, with talks to be scheduled for the fall and spring each year.

The event will take place at St. Jerome Parish in Brampton at 8530 Chinguacousy Rd.  The cost is $5, and the doors open at 6:15 p.m. with the talk beginning at 6:45.

Space is limited.  To reserve a seat, e-mail [email protected] or [email protected].
