WASHINGTON, DC, December 16, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The March for Life Committee, Stand True and Crossroads have partnered up to provide a dynamic youth rally as part of the March for Life Convention this year. The event is also being sponsored by LifeSiteNews.com.
Bryan Kemper, President of Stand True Christ Centered Pro-life, the youth outreach of Priests for Life will be hosting the event and also will be the keynote speaker. “Every year there are more and more young people attending the March for Life and we want to provide an educational and motivational youth event that helps activate this generation to take a stand for life,” Kemper told LifeSiteNews.com.
Kemper and Jimmy Nolan of Crossroads – the pro-life group which has youth walk across America, Canada and Ireland promoting life every summer – have been talking to the March for Life Committee for the last several years about hosting a youth event. Last year the March for Life team and Kemper put together an impromptu rally with just 2 days notice. Over 300 people attended the event, prompting this year’s event.

“We are also excited to have some of the most amazing youth pro-life leaders on the planet joining us; Lila Rose, Kristan Hawkins, Jason Jones, Kristina Garza, Elizabeth McClung and many more will share at the rally,” said Kemper. “We are also honored to have the music of Karina Mia and Cassandra Mohr.”
The March for Life Youth Rally will be held on Saturday, January 21 at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill as part of the March for Life convention, doors will open at 6:30 PM. The rally will be free of charge but reservations are suggested – [email protected]
