TORONTO, May 6 (LSN) – Yesterday Linda Gibbons was released from prison, having served her latest jail term for counselling mothers in crisis outside Toronto’s Scott abortuary. The Toronto grandmother has spent most of the last four years in prison for her outstandingly courageous pro-life witness, due to the Ontario government’s injunction protecting the abortion industry from peaceful, lawful dissent.  Linda will be speaking at a dinner in her honour on Saturday, June 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. at St Michael’s College School, 1515 Bathurst St., Toronto (near St Clair West station). Food and entertainment will be provided. Admission is $13 for adults and $6 for children, with a maximum per family of $38. Proceeds will be used to assist Linda and to support Aid to Women, which provides pro-life counselling and material and moral support for expectant mothers. Please call Cy Fleming or Tom Brown at (416) 368-8479 for tickets or information.
