News

Dear Friends,

We want to thank all those who helped to make our fall fundraising drive a tremendous success.  We didn't just reach our $40,000 campaign goal – we surpassed it!

That's right, we received an influx of donations at the last minute, including one for $5,000!  Please know how truly grateful we are for each and every one of our donors, who together, helped us raise over $46,000 towards our annual budget.

As we mentioned numerous times over the course of this fundraiser, LSN is so obviously the product of the effort and support of many people.  Without your prayers, efforts and donations, the mission or LifeSiteNews would literally not be possible.

This was the third campaign we have held in 2009 in an effort to raise funds to cover our annual operating budget of about $380,000.  With over $170,000 raised to date, our donors have been more generous this year than ever before.

But with only our Christmas fundraising drive left to make up the $190,000 difference, we still have much work to do.  And our operating budget does not even include the further developments we have planned that we believe would significantly help our mission.  Unfortunately we've had to continually delay many of these, despite our certainty of the added impact they would give to LSN's fearless cultural-changing news reporting.

Still, as always, we continue to have confidence in God's providence.  If this work is meant to continue and flourish, we will succeed.  This fall campaign proved that.  We know that with the continued prayers and financial support of our readers, and LifeSiteNews' dedication to the Truth, all will be provided for.

So thank you once again on behalf of the LSN staff for your affirming support.  Without all of you, our uncompromising and truthful reporting of pro-life and family news would not be made available to hundreds of thousands of readers in our truth-deprived world.

Together, we are sustaining and growing a powerful instrument of truth which in turn activates much needed actions for the good of all.

For Life and Family,

Steve Jalsevac, John-Henry Westen and the rest of the LifeSiteNews team
