Dear readers,

Only 8 days remain in our summer campaign and we still need at least 2,517 persons to make a donation by July 1st for LifeSiteNews to receive the extra $75,000 gift offered by a generous supporter.

983 readers have responded to date. Thank you so much for doing so!

Usually, the greatest numbers of donations come in the last week and last few days of our campaigns, so we are still very hopeful that we will not only achieve but exceed the goal of 3,500 donors.

To readers who have not yet donated, we need your donations now to build enough momentum to reach that absolutely necessary minimum goal this last stretch of our campaign.

Gallup poll last week reported that distrust of the mainstream media remains at all-time high levels in the United States.  Conversely, LifeSiteNews has been experiencing a huge growth in traffic, not only in the U.S., but from many countries around the world.

In fact, our readers tell us what they appreciate most about LifeSiteNews is precisely our commitment to reporting truth.  They trust us. Here are some of the most recent comments we have received:

  • “Thank you for doing the reporting that no one else currently does.” Joshua L., Teaneck, NJ
  • “Your journal … feeds my soul and provides high quality, truthful reporting, unlike most, if not all, of the mainstream papers and media.” Elizabeth M,. Dublin, Ireland
  • “Thanks for all your hard work to give us the truth.” Kathleen R., Lenhartsville, PA
  • “Thank you for the important work you are doing in keeping us informed and exposing the Truth about life issues.” Julia P., Toronto, ON
  • “I am glad that someone is willing to bring the truth to light.”Alyssa R., Airdrie, AB

And when our editor-in-chief, John-Henry Westen, and I were in Rome 2 weeks ago, we were astonished by the frequent praise we received from many leaders whom we had never met that were there for the Vatican's Gospel of Life celebration.

Consistently high quality, truthful and often original reporting on the most important issues in the world – that is our mission.

If you agree with the above sentiments PLEASE make a financial contribution TODAY

Newspaper subscriptions and cable television can cost many hundreds of dollars each year, and according to this new Gallup poll, 75% of the people who pay for these services don’t even trust the information they provide!

If you are willing to pay for misinformation, how much is the truth worth to you?

Would you be willing to pay $10/month to keep LifeSiteNews in operation?  Or $25, or $50?

Whatever it is worth to you, we hope that you will express it with with a much-needed donation today.

And please ask friends, family, or anyone you know who is of like mind on the issues of life and family to join the LifeSiteNews supporting team of readers.

Many will appreciate that you asked, and many of those who have not heard of LSN will appreciate that you have introduced them to our service.  From our own experience we have seen, and the Gallup poll mentioned above confirms, that people are looking for and greatly appreciate finally having a reliable news service to turn to every day on the all-important issues that we cover.

For life, family and the TRUTH,
