AURORA, Illinois, September 16, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) — A man escorting a woman into an abortion facility in Illinois has been arrested for threatening pro-life advocates with his loaded gun.
Video footage shows that pro-life activist Troy Buccini called out to a couple walking into the clinic, urging them not to destroy their child. The man walking next to the woman briefly flashed a firearm at Buccini and others who were with him before concealing the weapon.
Pro-lifers immediately called police, who arrested a man identified by The Chicago Tribune as 21-year old Clifton Ratney. Ratney told police he drew the weapon in response to pro-lifers “shouting toward” him. He was charged with misdemeanor unlawful use of a weapon and disorderly conduct at the facility.

Ratney's weapon was loaded, with 15 additional rounds of ammunition. While he has an Indiana concealed carry license, he does not possess a non-resident license.
On-scene video shows that Buccini did not let Ratney's threat deter him; he continued to call out to the couple as they walked toward the clinic. Later, he told Live Action News that “one of the pro-lifers called police. He was arrested and the baby was spared for that day, at least.”
