WASHINGTON, Jan 24 (LifeSiteNews) – Hundreds of thousands of pro-life Americans are marching today in commemoration of the 27th anniversary of the Roe v Wade decision which brought abortion to the US.  While the pro-abortion media has reported equal representation at events dealing with the anniversary, eye-witnesses report an overwhelming pro-life presence with little if any opposition present.

The Associated Press reported yesterday that “Hundreds of activists on both sides of the abortion debate converged on the nation’s capital Saturday to mark the 27th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision with a weekend of vigils, marches and protests.”  Jim Hughes,  president of Campaign Life Coalition Canada is in Washington joining in the March for Life.  Hughes told LifeSite this afternoon that there were hundreds of thousands of pro-life marchers and that he had not seen any abortion supporters thus far.

One of the pro-life events Sunday, reported on in the LA Times, was a demonstration featuring large pro-life signs set up on the roads leading to the church President Clinton attends.
