ROME CITY, Georgia (LifeSiteNews) — Police were sent to the house of Conservative U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia for a second night in a row due to fake 911 calls.

The Republican congresswoman reported being the victim of a “swatting” attempt once again in the early hours of Thursday. Swatting refers to making false police reports that can trigger SWAT teams or police in general to visit someone’s home, causing attention.

“Last night, I was swatted just after 1 am. I can’t express enough gratitude to my local law enforcement here in Rome, Floyd County,” she tweeted Wednesday. Police again showed up at her house early Thursday morning, according to CNBC.

Both times the phone calls alleged that someone had been shot. A computer-generated voice on Wednesday morning called the police back and took credit for the incident, claiming it was in retaliation for Greene’s opposition to the genital and chemical mutilation of children. She introduced legislation on August 19 to make it a felony to provide transgender drugs and surgeries to kids.

She told Newsmax that the targeting is a form of “political terrorism.”

“They should be tried for terrorism,” Greene said. “This political targeting and political terrorism needs to end, and it needs to end now.”

She said the suspect, if found, should be charged for “attempted murder.”

Leftist political violence has remained an issue for the past months, beginning with targeted and likely illegal protests outside of the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices. Leftists encouraged the protests to attempt to coerce the justices to vote against the reversal of Roe v. Wade. A left-wing California man was arrested for traveling to Maryland to try to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge has also taken credit for firebombing pro-life groups and pregnancy help centers. The White House and top Democrats, including Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, have remained relatively quiet on the violent actions and threats against conservatives.
