OTTAWA, Apr 17 (LSN) – Pro-lifers from across Canada are organizing a March for Life on Parliament Hill this May 14, to commemorate the 29th anniversary of the legalization of abortion by Pierre Trudeau’s Liberals. On May 14, 1969, the House of Commons passed Bill 150, the infamous “Omnibus Bill,” which liberalized Canada’s laws on abortion, divorce, and homosexuality.  The March for Life to Parliament Hill will be followed by a rally, which will include speeches by pro-life leaders and prominent pro-life MPs. Participants will have an opportunity to visit their own MPs, and to attend Question Period in the House of Commons. Protestant and Catholic worship services are also being arranged, as well as an evening meal and social.  For more information, call Campaign Life Coalition, at:  (416) 368-8479 or 1-800-730-5358.  CLC urges Canadian pro-lifers to attend the Ottawa demonstration or at least to contact their MPs in Ottawa on the 14th, or at their constituency offices during the May 15-22 parliamentary recess.
