(LifeSiteNews) — LifeSiteNews readers will recognize Dr. Mark Trozzi as the bold Canadian doctor unafraid to speak the truth despite backlash from the mainstream media and medical establishment.
But what they may not know is that they will be given an opportunity to meet the outspoken doctor at LifeSite’s upcoming 25th annual Canadian gala on July 18th.
Trozzi’s opinion pieces, often featured on LifeSite, informed Canadians on the best medical treatments to combat COVID-19, not with an experimental vaccine but with proven medicines.
As a practicing doctor of 25 years, Trozzi was on-call in multiple emergency units when COVID-19 first appeared, including a unit specifically dedicated to COVID issues.
He soon noted severe discrepancies between the public narrative about COVID and the realities in hospital settings. While the government and press claimed that hospitals were overwhelmed with COVID patients, the ER units where he worked were virtually empty.
Trozzi was one of the few doctors to advocate for the use of Ivermectin, a drug proven to effectively combat COVID, while other doctors refused to prescribe it, instead forcing their patients to take the experimental vaccines.
Furthermore, regardless of the damage to his own medical career, Trozzi warned against taking the shots, citing blood analysts, statistics, and other Canadian doctors.
At the end of 2020, Trozzi walked away from his highly successful career, sold his family home, and committed himself completely to alerting the public to the falsehoods concerning COVID.
“I followed my Hippocratic Oath,” he said. “I remained an intact, intelligent human being with a heart, and no matter how much money I could have made to kill off the citizens of Ontario, I wouldn’t do it.”
During a recent conference organized by the World Council for Health, a coalition of leading medical freedom experts, Dr. Trozzi outlined his conviction that COVID was really “one major move in a much larger strategy to essentially create a global dictatorship.”
Trozzi is one of many doctors working to inform Canadians and protect their medical freedom whom attendees will have the opportunity to meet at LifeSite gala. Others include Ontario doctors Byram Bridle and Mary O’Connor, both of whom were persecuted for informing Canadians about their right to make informed medical decisions.
Attendees will also meet with LifeSite staff who have spent their careers fighting for the unborn in Canada and abroad, including LifeSite co-founder and editor-in-chief John-Henry Westen, LifeSite’s Washington D.C. Bureau Chief Doug Mainwaring, and LifeSite co-founder and pro-life grandfather Steve Jalsevac.
The event will include interviews with Jim Hughes, a LifeSite board member and former president of Campaign Life Coalition, the organization within which LifeSiteNews was founded, LifeSite’s own Jim Hale, and student activist Josh Alexander.
There will also be a live showing of LifeSite’s Faith & Reason program with Father James Altman and Liz Yore. The guest emcee will be LifeSite contributor and podcast host, Jonathon Van Maren.
The event will take place at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites and Conference Centre on July 18. Tickets for the gala – where after enjoying a reception and plated dinner, attendees will be part of LifeSite’s live studio audience – can be purchased here.
