Dear Readers,

We are minus our editor as he has just left for five days to attend a meeting of the Pontifical Academy of Life in Rome. John-Henry will also be meeting with various contacts in Rome in order to develop the LifeSiteNews network of news and information sources and to research stories. Associate editor John Jalsevac is filling in for John-Henry while he is away.

We hope you are adjusting to the changes to the website. It is still undergoing a fair amount of adjusting. Whenever a major update is launched glitches always need to be corrected and this time has been no exception. Some of you may have noticed, for instance, that “Send to a Friend” was not working at first. That has been repaired.

Comments emailed to us have been most helpful. We hope to hear from more readers about their positive and negative reactions to the new website developments. Don’t be shy. Tell us what you think and make any suggestions you might have. Email [email protected].

We are now putting dates in the front page headlines and the headlines color scheme is more uniform to make them easier to follow as they change during the day. Please let us know if you having ANY problems viewing or printing out any parts of the site or with any other functions. Often, if our readers don’t communicate with us, we have no idea that there is a particular problem with the website.

Today I had a very pleasant visit from a Brazilian student who is an avid LifeSiteNews reader. He related how well LifeSiteNews is known to the Brazilian pro-life community. He was assigned to interview us and take some photos for a report to be posted on a Brazilian pro-life blog. This young man, who seemed to be very competent and upbeat, was to me a sign of a vibrant, growing Brazilian pro-life movement that will likely become a wonderful example to the world.
