Dear readers,

I am just back from a much needed holiday in beautiful Myrtle Beach SC, and wish all of our American readers a happy and blessed Thanksgiving for tomorrow.

Further developments in the news on the “ethical” stem cell research have again given us pause for concern.  The main researcher involved has encouraged the continued use of human embryos in research.  Thus the concerns expressed by Dr. John Shea should be closely examined.

You’ll be encouraged by strong statements from the Pope and Boston’s Cardinal O’Malley in today’s news.  And be sure to read our take on Quebec Cardinal Ouellet’s apology to homosexuals and women to see it in its proper context.

For life and family,

John-Henry Westen
