HOLLYWOOD, May 24 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Actor Michael J. Fox, who recently announced that he is leaving his television career for a full-time role fighting Parkinson’s disease, has come out in support of the use of aborted baby tissue for research. Associated Press reports that the 38-year-old star of Family Ties and Back to the Future said he may speak before the US Congress urging funding for the use of human embryos for stem cell research. “I just want to urge people to not follow a knee-jerk reaction,” Fox said. “This is tissue and cells that are going to be thrown away.”
