We are a little over one-third of the way into our Christmas fundraiser and have raised only a little over $40,000 (or 20%) towards our necessary $200,000 minimum goal.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed. We are grateful and humbled by your support!

But before the hectic part of the Christmas season sets in, we are hoping you will take a minute right now, to make the most generous donation you can in support of our life-changing, culture-saving news reporting.

It is going to be a challenge to raise $160,000 more in the little time remaining in this campaign.

And yet, we absolutely need to raise at least that amount to keep going into the new year. Right now, our funds are dangerously low – just barely getting us through each day!

This free news service, which we provide for 30 million people (and counting!) around the globe, simply isn’t sustainable without the support of people like you, who want to see our culture awakened from its slumber!

For those of you who are new to LifeSite, you may be wondering how we use your donations to help spread the Culture of Life.

I would love to share that with you.

LifeSite is an international news agency with headquarters in both the United States and Canada. However, we also employ full and part-time journalists all over the world, including in Latin America, Italy, France, England, Australia, and New Zealand.

All told, we have a team of 15 full-time and 10 part-time journalists and support staff who help us to publish 5,000+ investigative life and family reports each year.

Then there are the expenses of keeping our website running: expenses that continue to climb every year as our traffic continues to grow. In the past two years alone we have had to upgrade servers five times, just to keep pace with our explosive growth!

Meanwhile, our webmasters work tirelessly to keep our cutting edge, always improving website in optimal condition to present the many thousands of articles and resources that have accumulated on our website from 1997 onwards. A job that is not easy, I can assure you.

Our staff have also become increasingly in demand as speakers. This means that myself and several other staff must spend increasing time traveling all around the world to conferences and speaking engagements dealing with the life and family issues. Communities everywhere are experiencing the same attacks on the shared beliefs we hold so dear!

LifeSite is wanted in so many places. I actually have to turn organizations down because I simply can’t continue directing the editorial side of our news agency, raising eight children, and traveling everywhere I am asked to go!

Then there is the annual international pro-life conference that we organize and host in Rome, where global pro-life leaders meet and strategize for the coming year. We also have a Spanish site that we maintain and we employ staff to find and investigate pressing stories in the Latin American culture.

There is much, much more that we do, that would fill several pages!

LifeSite truly has become a world class Internet news and information service, visited by tens of millions of people every year. And we have ambitious plans in the works to enable us to reach millions more people in the months and years ahead.

I know that none of our staff do what they do each day for the money. They would have been gone a long time ago if that was their main concern! There are no six-figure salaries on the LifeSite team, even though many of our staff do six-figure professional workloads – because of their unusual dedication to this awesome truth mission.

We are here for you – every day – all year.

During these quarterly campaigns, and especially during our major Christmas campaign, we depend on readers like you to keep this news organization afloat, so we can continue to be there, standing up in defense of the unborn, the weak, the natural family, and our freedoms!

Thank you for your support!
