PHILADELPHIA, PA, July 30 (LSN) – On Tuesday, Planned Parenthood revealed a $70,000 campaign to oust one abortion advocate and install another whose extreme pro-abortion agenda is closer to their own.  Congressman Jon Fox has enraged other leaders of the “family-planning” behemoth, by voting against measures such as chemical abortion, partial-birth abortion, and public funding of abortion.  For his part, Fox says, “I believe in Roe v. Wade, which is the law of the land. I support a woman’s right to choose.”  Fox notes that his vote against RU-486 chemical abortions comes from concerns about the safety of the procedure. He calls partial-birth abortion “reprehensible,” and “never medically necessary,” and he says although he supports the “right” to choose an abortion he doesn't think “the government should pay for it.”  In preparation for the November elections, Planned Parenthood is now asking voters in telephone interviews if they are aware that Fox would vote to make abortion illegal—a statement which does not accurately represent the congressman’s position.
