TORONTO, May 18 (Lifesitenews.com) – CTV news reported Monday that three Toronto area sperm banks have been ordered to quarantine all their stock and stop inseminations following Health Canada test results which revealed non-compliance with safety measures. In March an investigation found that the Gamete Services of Toronto, Gamete Biology Laboratories of Hamilton and the C.A.R.E. Centre in Mississauga failed to put their stock through all required tests resulting in concerns that the sperm may not be free from diseases such as AIDS, chlamydia, and gonorrhea.

Health Canada has ordered testing for the other 39 sperm banks across the country.
