TORONTO, Dec 8 (LSN)  A survey of Canadian physicians engineered by the Medical Post, a weekly newspaper geared to doctors, and conducted by the Angus Reid group claims most doctors are willing to assist in suicides. The National Post reported yesterday that the poll indicated that “52% of doctors said they would be inclined to participate in physician-assisted suicide if it were legal under strictly defined circumstances.” The survey also claims that “42% believe young female patients should have access to abortion services without parental knowledge or consent.”
