MUNICH, Germany, Nov 23 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Thanks to the objection of the German province of Bavaria, the nationwide distribution of the chemical abortion drug RU-486 (known in Germany as Mifegyne) was halted. The mostly Catholic province objected that under German law abortion products must be distributed directly by the manufacturer, but in Germany, a company called Femagen, was to distribute the drug while it is manufactured by the French firm Exelgyn.

Agence France Press reported yesterday that Femagen said it would take the decision to court.

Meanwhile, in Cologne, Catholic bishop Joachim Meisner reminded listeners of the connection between the chemical abortion drug and the Zyklon-B gas the Nazis used in concentration camps.
