OTTAWA, May 20 (LSN) – On May 14, the 29th anniversary of the legalization of abortion in Canada, MP Eric Lowther (Reform, Calgary Centre) addressed the House of Commons advocating women’s right-to-know legislation and a plebiscite on tax-funded abortion.  “We have…seen an increase in the diagnosis of post-abortion trauma, indications of strong medical linkages between abortion and breast cancer, and now even minors can obtain an abortion without parental notification, and have that procedure funded by taxpayer dollars,” said Lowther. “In my opinion, Canadians should be asked whether or not they are in favour of federal government funding for abortion on demand.  And if it is about choice, then let us give women better choices.”
