(LifeSiteNews) – A slew of new studies have again brought to light the dangers of the COVID jab for kids, especially considering how little a risk the disease poses for young children.

Children as young as five years old in many jurisdictions have been approved to receive the jab. When the shots were approved for kids, it was suggested by proponents that jabs were highly effective in preventing infection and severe cases.

However, research from the New York State Department of Health discovered that any potential protection offered to kids “declined rapidly” to the point of offering little to no protection within a matter of weeks.

The Centers for Disease Control presented similar info, and scientists from the UK the declining efficacy of the experimental jabs for all age groups at under nine percent within a few months. This included a decline in protection against severe disease.

Due to the vanishing protection that the jabs may offer children – for whom the risk of COVID is like the regular flu – Dr. Cody Meissner, a member of the advisory panel that recommended authorization of the vaccine for kids, told The Epoch Times that any benefits of the jab against disease are on par with risks of complications from the shot for kids.

“[T]he benefit roughly equals the risk of harm” for many children, Meissner said.

Heart inflammation in the form of myocarditis or pericarditis is a common side effect for young males who receive the abortion-tainted jabs.

Myocarditis is a type of heart inflammation that has repeatedly been linked to COVID vaccines.

Numerous studies show that the jab poses a greater heart risk than the disease.

One study found that Pfizer’s shot was associated with “a 133-times greater risk of heart inflammation for teenage boys.” The study analyzed data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), a vaccine injury tracking system managed by the CDC and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), from December 2020 to August 2021. Out of 1,991 VAERS reports of myocarditis after COVID-19 vaccination, 1,626 met the CDC’s case definition, according to the researchers.

Despite the documented dangers of the jab for kids and the small risk posed by the disease, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said that the Pfizer shot was 91 percent effective against infection in young children.

One concern for parents with regards to vaccinating their kids is the lack of long-term data available.

Kim Witczak, co-founder and executive director of the drug safety group Woodymatters, told The Epoch Times: “We don’t know potential long term harms or even some of the short term that we’re seeing reported in VAERS.”
