WASHINGTON, August 18, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — NARAL Pro-Choice America was swiftly hit with pushback after it compared the pro-life movement with white supremacists.

A later NARAL tweet conflated “the patriarchy” with “pro-life” and equated that to “white supremacy”:

NARAL’s tweets came in the wake of last weekend’s tragic deadly clashes in Charlottesville, Virginia, that left one woman dead and 19 injured after a man rammed his car into a group of self-described anti-fascists protesting a white supremacist rally.

March for Life President Jeanne Mancini challenged NARAL’s claims.

“The #prolife movement is against all violence from the womb to the grave,” tweeted Mancini. “The foundation of the #prolife movement is love.”

Added “Speak Out” in Mancini’s defense:

NARAL was hit by a flurry of tweets that underscored the American pro-abortion group’s hypocrisy by pointing to Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger’s racist eugenic agenda.
