UNITED NATIONS, June 8 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Beijing +5 conference with its radical push for abortion and lesbian special rights has generated a major protest by European and North American parliamentarians. Ambassadors and UN leaders have been receiving letters of protest from North American and European parliamentarians noting that they object to the radical proposals being brought forward supposedly on behalf of their countries by the UN delegations.

While debate is raging in the United States over restrictions on abortion, the UN delegation representing the US at the Beijing +5 conference in New York has been unanimous in its call for the provision of abortion on demand. While in Canada recent polls have shown a majority are in favour of retaining marriage for heterosexuals, the Canadian delegation has been “going to the wall” promoting lesbian rights. Alarmingly the JUSCANZ (Japan, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand) coalition and the EU (European Union) have been pushing to minimize national sovereignty.

Pro-family forces are encouraged at the show of support as hundreds of letters and signatures from Canadian, US and European parliamentarians have come in to the UN objecting to the false representation by the delegations.
