(LifeSiteNews) — A Catholic parish in New Jersey will once again hold a blasphemous “Pride Mass” for the eighth year in a row.

Our Lady of Grace Church in Hoboken, New Jersey, has announced that it will hold a sacrilegious, pro-LGBT “Pride Mass” on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

This is the eighth year that the parish, under the jurisdiction of Cardinal Joseph Tobin, has hosted the blasphemous event. In other years, the “Pride Mass” included rainbow flags hung in the church, women sitting in the sanctuary wearing pro-LGBT “love is love” shirts, and a gender-confused woman sharing her reflections from the pulpit.

The American TFP (Tradition, Family, Property) organization has started a petition asking the parish priest, Fr. Alexander Santora, to call off the sacrilegious event. By the time of the writing of this article, almost 17,000 people had signed it already.

While Our Lady of Grace parish boasts that is it one of the “most deeply rooted and oldest Roman Catholic churches in the United States,” its promotion of the LGBT agenda is in direct contradiction to the teachings of the Catholic Church.

The “pride” flag symbolizes one of the seven deadly sins and a lifestyle repeatedly condemned by the Catholic Church.

TFP noted that “the Holy Mass and the sin of pride are mutually exclusive.”

The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) clearly states that God created humans “male and female.” “Physical, moral, and spiritual difference and complementarity are oriented toward the goods of marriage and the flourishing of family life. The harmony of the couple and of society depends in part on the way in which the complementarity, needs, and mutual support between the sexes are lived out,” the Catechism continues.

The Catholic Church also has clearly condemned homosexual acts as “acts of grave depravity” and “intrinsically disordered,” as well as “contrary to the natural law.” The CCC furthermore states: “They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.” It adds that the homosexual inclination is “objectively disordered.”
