NEW YORK, Oct 28 (LSN) – A new UN population report released today has once again pushed the alarmist buttons to mandate population control. Although population predictions for upcoming years have actually been lowered (due to projected deaths from AIDS) the overall picture the UN paints remains dire. Typical of the fear mongering opinion in the report, Lester Brown, founder of the Washington-based Worldwatch said “The question is not whether population growth will slow in the developing countries, but whether it will slow because societies quickly shift to smaller families or because ecological collapse and social disintegration cause death rates to rise.”
